Introduction

Abacus Arts is based on the ground floor of a warehouse conversion, with easy, street-level access and wide, ceiling-height loading doors, width 1.5m.

The main space is 12.2m long by 9.8m wide, with good lighting and an oak-topped sprung floor.

Lighting Bars can be made available for your own equipment.  As an interior space it can also offer total blackout.    There is an upright piano, well-maintained and tuned to A440.

The main space is complemented by a smaller meeting room, 4.3m by 4m. This can function as a kitchen and coffee area, audition waiting room or props workshop.

Both the kitchen and the meeting room have a kettle and a sink. 40 stacking chairs are available for use between the two spaces.

The location on Walworth Road offers easy access to all kinds of amenities.  A large number of reasonably priced cafes, restaurants and bakeries are within a 2 minute radius, with a stationers and photocopying facilities also available close by.  The Elephant&Castle Shopping Centre is 5 minutes away on foot.
